Over more than three decades, I’ve turned my love for dance into a thriving business empire that’s inspired and supported thousands of students and studio owners.
What began in my parents’ garage has grown into multiple successful studios, teaching over 1,000 students and leading teams of more than 30 staff. I’ve started studios from scratch, bought existing ones, and even sold my flagship studio for multiple six figures.
Today, I’m known as one of Australia’s leading dance business mentors, combining practical experience with innovation to help others achieve scalable success. My programs and mastermind have guided hundreds of studio owners to simplify operations, increase profits, and build thriving businesses that no longer rely on them day-to-day.
As a business coach, podcast host, and mastermind mentor, I bring a no-nonsense yet heart-driven approach — supporting owners to step into their CEO role, create systems that work, and lead with purpose.
Above all, I’m a wife and mum of two beautiful girls, proof that you can build a profitable, sustainable business while still living a life you love.
Beyond my lifelong connection to dance, I bring an extensive and diverse professional background that sets my work apart. Before becoming a full-time dance business mentor, I served for over 13 years in the NSW Police Force, working in the Child Protection and Sex Crimes Squad — an experience that gave me an unparalleled understanding of leadership, integrity, communication, and resilience.
I’ve also pursued higher education in Psychology (PSY111) and Communications (COM120) through Charles Sturt University, along with nationally recognised qualifications in Health and Fitness (SRF40206) and Dance Teaching and Management (CUA50311). These studies have shaped my holistic approach to mentoring — blending business acumen, people-focused leadership, and practical wellbeing principles that help dance studio owners succeed both personally and professionally.
As an accomplished author, I wrote “Teaching Dance Beyond the Steps,” which earned acclaim for its authentic insights into classroom culture and the teacher-student dynamic. I’m also a frequent speaker and expert presenter at major industry events including the Australian Dance Festival and the Victorian Dance Festival, where I share actionable business and leadership strategies for studio owners. My expertise has been featured in Dance Informa magazine and across numerous industry platforms for my work in transforming how dance businesses operate.
Today, I dedicate my time to empowering dance studio owners, educators, and creative entrepreneurs to simplify, systemise, and scale their businesses for sustainable growth, impact, and profit. Through my Dance Studio Scaled Mastermind and Dance AI membership, I help leaders across Australia and New Zealand step into their CEO role with confidence — turning passion into profit, chaos into clarity, and creativity into long-term success.
